    This book had me experience all possible emotions throughout. What a talented author to say writing was not his intended and original career choice. So brilliantly written, I spent nights stifling laughs at the witty comments, and tears at the heartbreaks. I’m so happy I picked up this book and have such a deeper understanding and appreciation for our friends working for the NHS. I just hope the author believes every minute he spent in his role was a minute worth spending with no regrets, as clearly thousands of people would have been worse off without his care. Thank you for sharing your experiences and opening our eyes to a world we were once so far from feeling a part of.
  • Good on the whole, but trying too hard with humour

    The book is good although would be remarkably better if there were less jokes shoehorned in at random moments. Some are funny, others are completely unnecessary and give the impression of the class clown trying as hard as possible to get a laugh.
