    This was actually a very good book, hard to put down and extremely gripping. There were a few errors with the printing (random blank pages and pages that are printed twice) but that may be a fault in the digital download instead of the book itself.

    The synopsis intrigued me and, because it was a free download on Amazon, I decided to give it a shot. I’ve found some real treasures this way. Firstly, the writing style is really poor. I was tempted to stop reading after a couple of pages but, because I don’t like to give up on books, I persevered with it even though it felt like I was reading badly written fan fiction. The plot was okay, albeit rather predictable and not awfully original. For example, it was pretty obvious, from just a few pages in, that the kidnapper/serial killer is one of twins. This is hardly a new concept. The storyline had very little substance, the characters had no real depth to them and the dialogue between members of the police force and the missing girl’s family lacked authenticity. I figured this was probably the author’s first novel so was somewhat shocked to discover that they have written several books prior to this. I wouldn’t recommend this book nor would I bother with any other books from this author.

    Couldn't put this book down - love it when I find a great new author - will continue the series and read many more of the others. Hope they're as good as this one.

    Great book, interesting story line and characters. First of this author I have read but will read more. I did find the end a little difficult to follow it that might of been because I was so desperate to solve it

    Iv really enjoyed this book & recommend it to everyone.. I have read all the Gone series & the off shoot books from characters in Gone.. They are all excellent! I'm so glad I took the gamble on a different writer Stacy Claflin is top notch you will not be disappointed!!!
